Kingbull Expedition: 1,512 Watt-Hours, and a Throttle to 28
Outdoor Sports Wire, 16 October 2026, is Kingbull’s launch note. The Expedition is $1,199. The pack is 48 volts and 31.5 amp-hours. Forty-eight times 31.5 is 1,512, and the cart prints 1,512 watt-hours. The range claim is 120 miles in ideal conditions. The motor is a 750-watt hub with a 1,300-watt peak, and the controller is 48 volts at 22 amps, which is 1,056 watts. A twist throttle and speed modes through 28 mph are both on the sheet. That is not a Class 2 and it is not a Class 3. No newton-meters. No rear-travel number. No public film turned up.

The short answer
The Kingbull Expedition is $1,199 with a 48-volt, 31.5-amp-hour pack. Forty-eight times 31.5 is 1,512 watt-hours. The claimed range is 120 miles, which is 12.6 watt-hours per mile. The motor is a 750-watt hub with a 1,300-watt peak, and a twist throttle with modes through 28 mph. That is not a Class 2 or a Class 3.
The Kingbull Expedition is a new $1,199 bike, and the watt-hours are the part of the press release the release itself skipped. Outdoor Sports Wire, 16 October 2026, carries Kingbull’s announcement: a moped-style bike, two-rider seating, a 48-volt 31.5-amp-hour pack, and up to 120 miles under ideal conditions. The cart on kingbullbike.com prints the same $1,199 and the same 31.5 amp-hours, and it labels the pack 1,512 watt-hours. Forty-eight times 31.5 is 1,512. The pair agrees. One thousand five hundred twelve divided by 120 is 12.6 watt-hours per mile, if the claim and the pack are a pair. Ideal conditions are not a rider, a hill, or a throttle. It is not a loop.
Outdoor Sports Wire, 16 October 2026, and the Kingbull cart the same day. The watt-hours are on the cart. The wire printed the volts and the amp-hours and stopped.
| What it prints | |

One thousand three hundred is not one thousand fifty-six
The motor line is 750 watts, with a 1,300-watt peak. One thousand three hundred divided by 750 is 1.73. The controller, on the same table, is 48 volts at 22 amps. Forty-eight times 22 is 1,056 watts. One thousand three hundred minus 1,056 is 244. A controller that is printed at 1,056 watts does not explain a 1,300-watt peak, and a peak does not explain a 750-watt nominal. Three numbers, one bike, no sentence that says which one you get at 28 mph. No newton-meters on the wire or the cart. A hub motor’s torque, if they had printed it, would still not be a mid-drive torque. They did not print it.
A throttle through 28 is not a class
The speed modes are 6, 12, 19, 25, and 28 mph. Nineteen is under 20. Twenty-five and 28 are not. The assist is five levels, and there is a twist throttle. The class chart is why that combination is not a Class 2 and not a Class 3. A Class 2 throttle stops at 20. A Class 3 can assist to 28 and does not get a throttle that does the 28 by itself. Kingbull calls the Expedition moped-style. That is a shape. It is not a registration, a plate, or a license. The sheet does not say the throttle cuts at 20 while the pedal assist continues to 28. It lists 28 as a speed mode next to a twist throttle. Do not tell a ranger the word moped made it legal, and do not tell a buyer the 28 is only a pedal-assist ceiling. Neither sentence is on the page.

Full suspension, with the rear travel missing
The fork is a dual-crown, hydraulic spring, lockable, 80 millimeters. The rear shock is an aluminum body and a coil spring. The wire says full suspension. The millimeters on the rear are not there. Eighty is the only travel number. The tires are CST, 20 by 4.0 inches. Four times 25.4 is 101.6 millimeters. The wire’s frame line says high-carbon steel. The cart says steel. That is the same metal described one adjective apart. The bike weighs 94 pounds. Ninety-four divided by 2.2 is 42.7 kilograms. Payload is 350 pounds. The page does not say whether 350 is the rider, the passenger, and the baskets, or the riders alone. The optional rear basket is 65 pounds. The optional mid basket is 20. Sixty-five plus 20 is 85. If those caps sit inside the 350, 350 minus 85 is 265 left for the people. The page does not say they sit inside it. Two-rider seating is in the announcement. No second rider weight is printed. Brakes are hydraulic, two pistons, 180-millimeter rotors that are 2.3 millimeters thick. The drivetrain is a Shimano 7-speed. No cassette range. IPX6 is the water line. Rider height is 5 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 5 inches. That span is 16 inches.
Twelve point six watt-hours per mile is the 120-mile sentence. A throttle to 28 is the other sentence.
The two-bike offer is $150 off any pair, with no code, plus a gift pack of a lock, a pump, and rear footrest pegs valued at $76. One thousand one hundred ninety-nine times two is 2,398. Minus 150 is 2,248. The single-bike box already lists a pump and a lock, along with a charger, a tool kit, and a manual. The offer does not say the $76 pack is extra to a box that already has two of those items. It says the pack is part of the launch deal. Read the box you are paying for. No public film of the Expedition turned up. The 120 miles stays a claim at 12.6 watt-hours a mile until someone rides the 1,512. The watt-hour page is the 48 times 31.5. The tire page is the 20-by-4, not the brand on the sidewall.
