Aventon Soltera 3 ADV: Everything You Need to Know

A 37-pound Class 1 belt bike at $1,499. The spec motor is 250W and 40 Nm. The story prints a 500W peak. A new-releases chip prints 540W. The pack math, 366.8Wh, agrees with itself.

The short answer

The Aventon Soltera 3 ADV is a single-speed belt bike with pedals, sold as Class 1. Aventon prints 37 pounds, no throttle, 40 Nm, a motor line of 36 volts and 250 watts, and a pack of 36.9 volts, 9.94 amp-hours, and 366.8 watt-hours. That multiplication matches. Range is up to 70 miles. The same brand also prints a 500-watt peak, and a new-releases chip prints 540.

The Aventon Soltera 3 ADV is a single-speed belt bike with pedals, sold as Class 1. Aventon prints 37 pounds, a 300-pound limit, no throttle, 40 Nm, and a motor line of 36 volts and 250 watts. The product story also prints a 500-watt peak. A new-releases chip prints $1,499 and 540 watts peak. Three watt figures. The pack is 36.9 volts, 9.94 amp-hours, and 366.8 watt-hours, and that multiplication matches. Range is up to 70 miles. Charge is 3 to 4 hours. The row links here.

The spec line is the small number. The story’s 500 and the chip’s 540 are both labeled as peaks, and they still disagree with each other. Do not publish 430, or 520, or any blend. Two hundred fifty, five hundred, and five hundred forty are all under 750. With pedals and no throttle, this one sits inside the bicycle definition on the watt line in a way the Level 4 peak, printed at exactly 750, does not. The watt page is why a peak and a spec line are not the same sentence.

This battery math works. The Level 4’s does not.

Thirty-six point nine times 9.94 is 366.8 watt-hours, which is the printed pack. That is the opposite of the Level 4 ADV, where 36 times 20 is 720 and the label says 800. Here the three numbers agree. The watt-hour page is still the right place to put 366.8: it is a small tank next to a 700-class commuter. Up to 70 miles is a claim on that tank, not a camera loop this desk is holding. Charge time is printed as a band, 3 to 4 hours, not a single hour.

The largest size starts where the smallest starts

The chart prints S as 5 foot 1 to 5 foot 5, and XL as 5 foot 1 to 6 foot 4. Those ranges overlap. Both are on the page. Do not invent a corrected XL minimum, and do not invent M or L if the lines you needed were not the ones this crawl used. A rider at 5 foot 3 is inside both printed spans. Ask a shop which frame they would actually hand that person.

Buy it for a belt you can wipe, a single speed, and a light city bike that leaves as Class 1. Do not buy it as a 540-watt machine just because a chip said so, and do not buy it as the Level 4. Gates on this bike is the rain commute, not a cassette you can index. Tension is a brand spec, not a guess in a hallway.

Questions people ask

Is the motor 250, 500, or 540 watts?+

The spec line is 250 watts. The product story prints a 500-watt peak. A new-releases chip prints 540. Three figures. The sustained line is the small one. Do not average the peaks.

Does the battery math work?+

Yes. 36.9 times 9.94 is 366.8 watt-hours, which is the printed pack. That is the opposite of the Level 4 ADV, where 36 times 20 is not the printed watt-hours.

Why does the largest size start at 5 foot 1?+

The chart prints S as 5 foot 1 to 5 foot 5, and XL as 5 foot 1 to 6 foot 4. Those ranges overlap. Both are on the page. Do not invent a corrected minimum.

Is it a Class 1 bicycle?+

It has pedals, no throttle, and a 20 mph class line. Two hundred fifty watts is under 750, and both printed peaks are under 750. That is a bicycle. The 70-mile line is still a claim.
