The Cube Trike Hybrid is four cargo trikes, not a Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike. Cube’s manual covers Family (child bench) and Cargo (box), each with one 750 watt-hour tube or two. The German Cargo 1500 card is €7,499 and 70 kg. That page says a fourth-generation Bosch CX in the sentence and Bosch Cargo Line, 85 Nm, in the table. Assist stops at 25 km/h.
The Cube Trike Hybrid is not one cargo trike, and it is not a Class 1, 2, or 3 sticker. Cube’s own manual says the name currently covers two bodies and two packs: Family, with a child bench, and Cargo, with a box, each with one 750 watt-hour PowerTube or two. A CX and a Cargo Line are not nicknames for the same line item when both are printed on one URL. BDU37 is the code in the table. Eighty-five newton-metres is the number that agrees. The CX sentence does not name a torque. Do not average them into a third motor. Seventy kilograms is 154 pounds, and that is the Cargo card, not a weighed Family. One hundred ten kilograms of rider plus 70 kg of trike is 180 kg, which leaves 40 kg before the 220 kg system cap. The manual’s 50 kg box line and that remainder are not the same budget. Read the bike you configured.
Two 750 watt-hour tubes are not one 1,500 watt-hour battery with a new chemistry. And a tilting cargo trike that assists to 25 km/h is still not Class 3.
Who it is for
Buy the Family if the job is the child bench, and buy the Cargo if the job is the box. Then read whether the card says one tube or two. Skip the €7,499 bike if the listing you can pay is the 750. Skip both if you needed a US class label. The VanRaam Easy Rider Compact is the seated mobility trike, with a 250-watt sheet and a price list that splits the motor from the frame. The Lectric XPedition 2 is the US longtail, not a tilting trike. The Trek Fetch+ 4 is the Bosch front-loader with a dealer.
It fails a careless reading of the class chart. There are pedals, and the manual stops the motor at 25 km/h. That is not 20 mph Class 2 and not 28 mph Class 3. The watt-hour page is why 750 plus 750 is allowed to be written 1,500, and why that sum is still two packs. The tilt is real. It does not make the four cards into one.
