A Canada card prints 15.5 mph and a charge under 5 hours. The US card says 7.

Seventeen point four and fifteen point five are regional caps, not a test you average into 16.5. The range does agree, once you convert 40 kilometres. The charge time does not: 7 hours on the US card, under 5 on the Canada card. A 600-watt “peak for 30 minutes” is not a two-second peak. Print the words that are there. Twelve degrees is about a 21 percent grade. Fifteen percent is about 8.5 degrees. Rider Guide and NIU are not describing the same hill. The $220 line is not the US shop. This desk is not going to explain a database that undercuts the manufacturer by half. The card you can pay is the price.
Three hundred watts and no pedals is not Class 2. UL 2272 is a battery-and-scooter fire standard. It is not a bicycle class.
The other KQi, and who this one is for
The KQi3 Pro is the next card up: 19.9 mph, 350 watts rated and 700 peak, 486 watt-hours, 31 miles claimed, about 44.75 pounds, $699 and sold out on the US card this desk already wrote down. Its brake story is a disc fight. This one is a drum and regen, and the pages agree on that. Buy the KQi2 Pro if you want the slower, lighter, cheaper NIU and the US cart is actually in stock when you look. Skip it if 17.4 mph is too slow for the road you ride, or if the listing is the Canada 15.5 mph cap and you thought you were buying the US number.
It is not on the class chart. A kick scooter under 750 watts is still not an electric bicycle. Three hundred sixty-five watt-hours divided by 24.9 miles is about 15 watt-hours a mile. That is the claim, with no rider weight on the US line. The watt-hour page is the arithmetic. This desk does not have a throttle loop for this model the way it does for the KQi3 Pro. Do not borrow 20.9 miles from that other scooter.

Is the NIU KQi2 Pro a Class 2 e-bike?+
No. It is a kick scooter. Three hundred watts rated is under 750, and that still does not create pedals. UL 2272 on the US card is a fire standard, not a bicycle class.
How fast is the KQi2 Pro?+
The US shop says 17.4 mph. NIU Canada and a New Zealand listing say 25 km/h, and Canada labels that 15.5 mph. Do not average them into 16.5. The claimed range does agree: 24.9 miles, which is 40 kilometres.
