Onewheel Pint X / GT: Everything You Need to Know

The Onewheel Pint X and the Onewheel GT are two self-balancing boards from Future Motion, not one spec, and not a Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike. Future Motion’s menu prints the Pint X at 18 mph, 12–18 miles, from $1,200. The Pint X page body also says 20 mph, a 750-watt Hypercore motor, and up to 18 miles. The same menu prints the GT at 20 mph and 20–32 miles, and it prints both $2,300 and $2,000. The product record this crawl prices a GT slick at $2,300 and a treaded tire at $2,350. What Future Motion prints, and what it does not

Eighteen and twenty are both on Future Motion’s Pint X pages. Do not publish 19. The GT’s 20 mph and the S-Series’ 25 mph are different boards on the same menu. Three horsepower is about 2.2 kilowatts. Trailwheel’s 2,726-watt peak is a 2023 sheet, not a line this desk found on the live GT page. Fifty-four volts and 48 volts do not describe the same pack. Three hundred twenty-four watt-hours and 322 watt-hours are close, and the voltages are not. Geizhals’ “up to 19 km” is about 12 miles, the bottom of Future Motion’s 12–18, not a new test. A charge time is the same kind of split: Trailwheel prints 225 minutes for the Pint X, and Geizhals prints 4.5 hours. Future Motion’s pages this desk read did not print one.

A self-balancing board has no pedals and no class sticker. Eighteen miles an hour is not Class 2, and twenty is not Class 3.

Who it is for

Buy the Pint X if you want the small board and you have read whether the crate is the $1,200 color or the $1,550 one. Buy the GT if you want the board whose menu says 20–32 miles, and you will check whether the cart is $2,300, $2,350, or the $2,000 the menu also prints. Skip either one if you wanted a bicycle, a scooter with a brake lever, or the 25 mph S-Series. Range on these boards moves with rider weight, tire pressure, and how hard you push. Future Motion’s own GT manual says that, and tells you 20 psi if you want the range they have in mind. This desk has not rerun a loop.

It is not on the class chart. There is nowhere to put a pedal. A sidewalk or a bike lane is a local rule, not a sticker these pages grant.
