2026 Showroom: Launches That Actually Shipped

Tern’s new HSD, Bosch’s May software bump, and the bikes already in shops.

The short answer

The 2026 showroom that matters is inventory: Tern HSD Gen 2, Bosch’s May software bump on dealer bikes, Aventon Current and Level 4 still shipping, Rad still listing Rover 6 after the Life EV sale. If a dealer cannot quote a serial and a delivery week, it is a booth, not a launch.

Launch season is loud. These are the 2026 items with a date and a spec, not a rumor.

Tern redesigned the HSD on 15 July 2026: new cargo geometry, 419 lb max gross vehicle weight, 176 lb Atlas H rack, Bosch Performance Sport and Class 3 on select U.S. models, from $4,999, arriving at North American dealers later in summer 2026. Bosch Performance Upgrade 2.0 began 4 May 2026 for CX and CX-R motors — situational 120 Nm / 600% assist in named modes. Specialized’s Levo 4 is already the current full-power Levo (3.1 motor, 840Wh); S-Works peak power was raised by firmware in February 2026. Aventon Level 4 (REC hub and ADV mid-drive) is the current Level commuter, with ACU security, typically $1,799–$2,799 depending on trim.

Treat every range claim as a hypothesis until someone publishes a loop with elevation. A sub-40 lb trail bike with thermal headroom is still the exception, not the aisle.
