The list row is two brands. 79bike’s Falcon Pro was sold out at $3,799 from $3,999: a 10-kilowatt peak, 72 volts and 35 amp-hours, 56 mph, 130 pounds. The GT card is 72V 40Ah and 59 mph, and it prints both 16 kW and 16.8 kW. Apollo’s RFN Ares is another motorcycle. One US block peaks at 12.5 kilowatts and lists 68 kg. A Canadian table lists 90 kg.
The list row says Falcon / Ares and names two brands. They are not one motorcycle, and none of them is a Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike. 79bike’s Falcon Pro card was sold out at $3,799 from $3,999: a 10 kW peak, 72V 35Ah LG M50T cells, 56 mph, 130 lb, 410 Nm, and a 3.5-hour charge. The same site’s compare table prints a Falcon GT at 16.8 kW, 59 mph, 72V 40Ah Samsung 50S cells, and 610 Nm. The GT product page also prints 16 kW in a second chip, and 152 lb. A shop page titled Pro has pasted the GT’s 16.8 kW and 40-amp-hour pack under the Pro’s 56 mph bullets. That is a dealer collision, not a new model. Read the maker’s compare row before you pay the shop.
Ten kilowatts, sixteen, and twelve and a half are three motors. Sixty-eight kilograms and ninety are two masses. The list’s one price cell, “dealer,” was the only honest part of the old line.
Not a Light Bee, and not a bicycle
The Pro is the Light Bee-shaped one: about 130 lb, a 19-inch pair, a 10 kW peak. A Light Bee X is the bike shops compare it with. The Ares, at 68 kg or 90 kg depending on the card, is a larger registered-style motorcycle with a chain and a 19/18 wheel pair on the Canadian table. None of them have pedals. None of them are on the class chart. The watt-hour page is why 2,520, 2,880, 3,096, and 3,182 are checks, and why 3,132 on a 72-volt 43-amp-hour label does not match the multiplication.
Who it is for
Buy the Pro if the cart says 10 kW, 72V 35Ah, and 130 lb, and you wanted the light trail bike near $3,799. Buy the GT only if the row says 16.8 kW, or 16 kW, and 40 amp-hours, and you have decided which of those two peaks you believe. Buy an Ares only after you know whether the tag is $4,499 and 68 kg or the Canadian table’s 90 kg.
Skip the row if you needed one weight or one watt. Seventy-five miles on 2,520 watt-hours is about 34 watt-hours a mile. That is the Pro’s range chip, not a loop this desk rode. Do not average 56 mph and 59, and do not average 68 kg and 90.
Questions people ask
Is the Pro the same machine as the GT?+
No. The compare table gives the Pro 410 Nm and the GT 610 Nm, with different packs and different peaks. That GT page also prints a 16-kilowatt chip beside a 16.8-kilowatt row. A Lite row peaks at 8 kilowatts. One list name covers none of those cards.
Why does the Ares show several power lines?+
The US drivetrain block prints 6.5 kilowatts nominal and a higher peak. An overview line on that page says 11 kilowatts. A Canadian max-power cell says 5,000 watts, and the body then says 90 km/h after a chip said 70. Quote the block in the cart.
Which mass is printed, 68 kilograms or 90?+
The US Endurance card prints 68 kg and a seat of 860 mm. The Canadian table prints 90 kg and 835 mm. Seventy-two times 43 is 3,096 watt-hours. That US card prints 3,132. Seventy-four times 43 is 3,182, which a magazine printed next to 74 volts.
What was the Pro’s price?+
Sold out at $3,799 from $3,999 on the maker’s card. A shop has pasted the other model’s numbers under this name. Seventy-two times 35 is 2,520 watt-hours. The product page does not print watt-hours. No pedals. Not a bicycle class.
