The short answer

The Aventon Ramblas ADV is a hardtail with pedals, sold as Class 1. Aventon prints 54 pounds, a 300-pound limit, an A100 mid-drive at 250 watts sustained and 750 peak, 100 Nm, a 708 watt-hour 36-volt pack, no throttle, and up to 90 miles for a 165-pound rider in Eco on flat pavement. A 23 September 2026 blog prints $2,899.

The Aventon Ramblas ADV is a hardtail with pedals, sold as Class 1. The spec block this desk read prints 54 pounds, a 300-pound limit, an A100 mid-drive at 36 volts, 250 watts sustained, 750 watts peak, and 100 Nm, plus a 708 watt-hour pack of LG 21700 cells. Throttle is N/A. Range is up to 90 miles for a 165-pound rider, flat pavement, Eco, default Ride Tune. That same spec block did not print a dollar. A 23 September 2026 Aventon blog prints $2,899, and a shop card prints the same. The list still said about $2,499. The row links here.

What the spec block actually prints

Aventon Ramblas ADV product page, plus the 23 September 2026 blog and Freshly Charged. Amp-hours are this desk’s division, not a printed cell count.

Faster capAn older Aventon post: optional 28 mph, which that post calls Class 3, still with no throttle. Freshly Charged prints 28 mph and calls it multi-class.

Seven hundred fifty is not under 750

Federal bicycle language, the low-speed electric bicycle line, wants operable pedals and a motor of less than 750 watts, and motor-only speed under 20 mph. This bike has pedals. It leaves the box without a throttle, so motor-only speed is not the thing the hangtag is selling. The sustained figure, 250 watts, sits under 750. The peak figure is 750 exactly. Exactly 750 is not less than 750. Do not hide the peak behind the sustained number, and do not pretend the peak is a second continuous rating. The watt page is the rest of that split.

An older Aventon post says a rider can raise the cap to 28 mph. That post calls the result Class 3 and says the throttle is still absent. Freshly Charged prints a 28 mph top speed, a multi-class description, and a 296-pound limit against the spec block’s 300. Those are two documents. Ship state remains Class 1 until someone changes it, and a path sign does not care what the app allows.

708 watt-hours, and a price the spec block skipped

The pack line prints 708 watt-hours and 36 volts. It does not print amp-hours. Seven hundred eight divided by 36 is 19.7. That quotient is this desk’s math. The cells are LG 21700, the battery is listed at 8.44 pounds, and the brick is 42 volts at 4 amps for a stated five hours. Put that next to the watt-hour page. Do not call 19.7 a sticker Aventon forgot to print.

Three dollars are in circulation. The product-page crawl did not show one. The 23 September 2026 blog shows $2,899. A shop card shows $2,899. The list’s about $2,499 is older. Do not average $2,499 and $2,899 into a third price. Pay the tag on the day you check out.

Ninety miles is a recipe

Up to 90 miles is Eco, flat pavement, 165 pounds, and the default Ride Tune. It is not a trail loop and it is not a 200-pound rider in the highest assist. This desk does not have a camera test on this hardtail the way Electric Bike Report published loops for the Level 4 pair. Absence of a test is not permission to treat 90 as typical. If the week is pavement and you wanted a throttle, this is the wrong Aventon. The Current ADV / EXP is the full-suspension sibling, with its own price fight. The Level 4 ADV is the commuter mid-drive, not this trail bike.

Questions people ask

Is the peak under 750 watts?+

Aventon prints 250 watts sustained and 750 peak. The federal bicycle line is less than 750 watts. Seven hundred fifty is not under that line. The sustained figure is. Do not hide either number.

Does it ship at 28 mph?+

The spec block prints Class 1 and throttle N/A. An older Aventon post says riders can raise the cap to 28 mph, which that post calls Class 3, and that there is still no throttle. Freshly Charged prints 28 mph and a 296-pound limit against the page’s 300.

What is the pack, in amp-hours?+

Aventon prints 708 watt-hours and 36 volts, not amp-hours. Seven hundred eight divided by 36 is 19.7. That quotient is this desk’s math. The 90-mile line is Eco, flat, and 165 pounds.

Why does the list say about $2,499?+

The 23 September 2026 blog prints $2,899. A shop card prints the same. The spec block this crawl did not print a dollar. The list’s figure is a third number. Do not average them.
