Cyrusher Hurricane: 28 mph on the Tile, 25 km/h in the Spec

Cyrusher’s US Hurricane page, read 20 October 2026, is sold out at $4,799 from $5,999. Tiles say 28 mph, Class 2/3, 1,040 watt-hours, and 90 lb. The spec block says 25 km/h on PAS 5 and 89.5 lb. 52×20 is 1,040. A 1,000W motor is over 750. Not the Schwinn.

The short answer

The Cyrusher Hurricane is a carbon soft-tail, not a Schwinn. The US page, read 20 October 2026, is sold out at $4,799 from $5,999. Tiles say 28 mph, Class 2/3, 1,040 watt-hours, and 90 pounds. The spec block says 25 km/h on PAS 5 and 89.5 pounds. Fifty-two times 20 is 1,040. A 1,000-watt motor is over the 750-watt bicycle line. No independent ride test turned up.

The Cyrusher Hurricane is a carbon soft-tail fat bike with a Bafang mid-drive. It is not the Schwinn Hurricane. Cyrusher’s US product page, read 20 October 2026, is sold out at $4,799, from a regular price of $5,999. The tiles say 55 miles, 28 mph, Class 2/3, 1,040 watt-hours, 1,000 watts and 160 newton-meters, a 440-pound payload, and 90 pounds. The spec block on the same page says 52 volts and 20 amp-hours, a speed of up to 25 km/h on PAS 5, and 40.6 kg, which it prints as 89.5 pounds with the battery. Fifty-two times 20 is 1,040. Twenty-five kilometers an hour is 15.5 mph. A 1,000-watt motor is over the federal line of less than 750 watts. This is a desk comparison of those cards. It is not a SickEBike ride.

Cyrusher Hurricane on a ridge at sunset, with spec cards that do not match the cart
The overlay is not the cart. It says 48 volts, 20 amp-hours, and 960 watt-hours. Forty-eight times 20 is 960. Cyrusher’s US page says 52 volts and 20 amp-hours, and the tile says 1,040. Fifty-two times 20 is 1,040. The overlay’s 100 newton-meters is not the tile’s 160. Eighty miles is not the 55-mile tile or the 37-to-55 spec. “28+” and “Class 3” skip the spec line of 25 km/h and the tile that says Class 2/3. It is a sunset render, not Cyrusher’s studio shot.

The tile and the spec block are not one sentence

US page, cyrusher.com/products/hurricane, read 20 October 2026. France and UK are the other Cyrusher storefronts in the same crawl. AutoEvolution is Cristian Curmei’s Hurricane piece, opened with this guide; that page did not give this desk a dateline. Do not average a tile and a spec line.

Fifty-two times 20 is 1,040. The tile and the arithmetic agree. The spec block never writes the watt-hour, and it does not need to if you do the multiplication. The range does not agree with itself. The tile says 55 miles. The spec says 37 to 55 miles, which is the 60 to 90 km band written in miles. AutoEvolution’s 56 miles is 90 km rounded up. Ninety divided by 1.609 is 55.9. Cyrusher rounded that down to 55. Do not average 55 and 56. One thousand forty divided by 55 is about 19 watt-hours a mile. One thousand forty divided by 37 is about 28. The page does not say which assist level, which rider, or which wind sits on which end. The watt-hour page is why the tank is 1,040. The range page is why 55 miles at 15.5 mph is not 55 miles at 28.

The charger is 58 volts at 3 amps. Fifty-eight times 3 is 174 watts. One thousand forty divided by 174 is 6.0 hours, if the brick held 174 watts the whole way, which a lithium charge does not. The page says 6 to 7 hours. That band can sit next to a 6-hour ideal. It is not a measured clock. Eight hundred cycles is a life claim with no depth of discharge next to it. The battery page is the cycle sentence. This page will not turn 800 into a year count.

Class 2/3 is a sticker. One thousand watts is the statute.

The tile says Class 2/3. The spec line says 25 km/h on the highest pedal-assist level. That is 15.5 mph, under a US Class 2 cap and under a Class 3 cap. The motor line is still 1,000 watts. 15 U.S.C. § 2085 is pedals, a motor of less than 750 watts, and motor-only speed under 20 mph. One thousand is not less than 750. The power page is why a class word on a tile does not shrink the motor. France’s hero speed, 45 km/h, is about 28 mph, which matches the US tile and misses the 25 km/h spec line on both storefronts. A European 45 km/h bicycle is a different approval than a US Class 3. Do not shop one sticker across both.

Notebookcheck’s launch note, 30 November 2023, printed a thumb throttle. AutoEvolution says the product page does not specify a throttle, and then treats a Class 3 label as if a throttle follows. The US spec block this desk read does not contain the word throttle. The bars in the studio photo are too small to settle it. If the bike in the box has a twist or a thumb lever, it is a fact about that bike. It is not a fact this page can take from the 2026 spec block.

Twenty-eight miles an hour and 25 kilometers an hour are both on Cyrusher’s own pages. They are not the same speed. Fifteen and a half is not 28.

The fork has three names, and the rear travel is blank

The spec block prints two front-suspension lines. The first is a GTMRK inverted air fork. The second is a DNM USD-8FAT with 160 mm of travel, and it is also labeled front suspension. Cyrusher’s studio shot says Volcano on the fork leg. Those are three names for the part that holds the front wheel. This desk will not pick one and delete the other two. The frame line says carbon, with four soft-tail links. A rear shock is in that studio shot. No page this desk read prints the rear travel in millimeters. AutoEvolution says the same thing by leaving it out. A soft-tail with an unstated rear number is not a 160 mm bike at both ends. The electric mountain bike guide is the travel column this sheet does not fill in.

The tire the spec names is the tire on Cyrusher’s studio shot: CST, 26 by 4.8, and the sidewall reads Roly Poly. Belcopia’s Hurricane table, at the same $4,799 from $5,999, then lists 27.5 by 2.8 Maxxis tires, a 74-pound bike, Tektro HD-M745 brakes, a Shimano M2000 drivetrain, and a T800 carbon claim. Seventy-four pounds is not 89.5. A 2.8-inch trail tire is not the 4.8-inch sidewall on that studio shot. Shop the bike in front of you, not that table. The tire guide is why 26×4.8 and 27.5×2.8 do not share a job. The brake guide is why E730 and HD-M745 are different caliper names until someone opens the box. The motor is a mid-drive, so the 9-speed Shimano is the gearing the motor uses. The hub versus mid-drive page is that sentence. The code on Cyrusher’s block is ASLM20109RC. This desk will not rename it.

The only public film is the brand’s, and it is 35 seconds

Cyrusher E-Bikes, 29 November 2024, 35 seconds. About 13,400 views when this desk looked. The description says 1,000 watts, an LG 52-volt 20-amp-hour pack, fat tires, and carbon. It is an ad. It is not a timed loop. AutoEvolution’s line that the Hurricane has no written review and no video review still fits an independent test. This film does not retire that line.

Notebookcheck on 30 November 2023 also printed 77 pounds and a payload of “400 lbs (~200 kg).” Two hundred kilograms is about 441 pounds, not 400. The current spec says 40.6 kg and 200 kg. The 77-pound line matches neither the 89.5-pound spec nor the 90-pound tile. Versus’s 28 kg would be about 62 pounds. That card is not the scale. Weight on this desk is 90 pounds on the tile and 89.5 pounds in the spec. Half a pound is a rounding. Seventy-seven is a different claim.

Who it is for

Buy it only if the cart you can actually check out still says M620, 52 volts, 20 amp-hours, 26×4.8, and a price you have read, and if you have decided which speed you believe: 28 mph on the tile or 15.5 mph in the spec. The US button this desk pressed against was sold out at $4,799. A sold-out price is not a bike. Skip it if you needed a GPS loop, a rear-travel number, or a class sticker that survives the 750-watt test. Skip a listing whose tire is 27.5×2.8. Skip it if you wanted the Schwinn, which is a $999.99 hub bike with a 500-watt nominal motor. And skip 55 miles as a plan until someone publishes the rider, the assist, and the speed of that loop. Eighty-nine and a half pounds with the battery is a bike you roll. It is not a carbon weight people carry up stairs.

Questions people ask

Is the Cyrusher Hurricane a Class 2 or Class 3 e-bike?+

The US tile says Class 2/3 and 28 mph. The spec block says up to 25 km/h on PAS 5, which is 15.5 mph. The motor is 1,000 watts. Federal product law wants less than 750. The sticker and the statute are not the same sentence.

How big is the Hurricane battery?+

The spec block says 52 volts and 20 amp-hours. Fifty-two times 20 is 1,040 watt-hours, which is the tile. The brand’s 2024 film says LG. The spec block does not name the cell brand. Range is a tile of 55 miles and a spec band of 37 to 55.

How much does the Cyrusher Hurricane weigh?+

The tile says 90 pounds. The spec says 40.6 kg, printed as 89.5 pounds, with the battery. Notebookcheck printed 77 pounds in 2023. Versus prints 28 kg. Use 89.5 and 90. Do not average them with 77.

Is there a review or a ride video?+

Cyrusher’s own film, 29 November 2024, is 35 seconds. This desk did not find an independent timed ride. AutoEvolution’s no-review line still fits a test. It does not fit the ad.
