The RQi is a sit-down motorcycle, not a stand-up KQi. Global copy starts at €7,499, claims 95–105 km, 5,000 W rated, and 0–50 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Energy per charge is printed as 5,184 Wh. The capability cell says 72V 36Ah while the mass cell says 23 kg x 2. Seventy-two times 36 is one brick. The energy number is two. A 2024 Italian price was €7,999.

NIU’s global RQi Sport page prints a price from €7,499, a top speed of 110 km/h, 7,500 W maximum, 5,000 W rated, 0–50 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 450 Nm, and 95–105 km. Energy per charge is printed as 5,184 Wh. The same key-spec block prints battery capability as 72V 36Ah. NIU global RQi Sport versus a Polish 2026 dealer table. Gazzetta’s 28 September 2024 test printed €7,999. That is a third price, not an average of €7,499 and 26,990 PLN.

Seventy-two times 36 is 2,592 watt-hours. Times two it is 5,184, which is the energy figure the global page already prints. The global capability line omits the “times two” that Poland prints, while the mass line on the global page already says 23 kg x 2. Read both lines. Do not publish 2,592 as the whole bike. One hundred ten kilometers an hour is 68 mph. Four hundred fifty newton-meters beside a 7.5 kW motor is what the page claims. This desk did not put that torque on a dyno. It is not the motor torque people quote on a Class 3 hub. The KQi scooters are the stand-up NIU bikes. This is not one of them.
Five thousand one hundred eighty-four watt-hours is two packs. The 72-volt 36-amp-hour line, written once, is one pack. The page managed to print both.
Who it is for
Buy it if you want NIU’s 110 km/h motorcycle, you can register whatever category your country assigns a 7.5 kW sit-down, and you will not shop it next to a sidewalk scooter. There is no US tag in this crawl. A euro price and a zloty price are not a dollar. It fails the class chart. The watt-hour page is why 72 times 36 times 2 lands on 5,184.
Questions people ask
Can you ride it like a kick scooter?+
No. Poland lists 186 kg, an 825 mm seat, and 17-inch tires, 110/70 and 140/70. Two people are on that table. The KQi pages are the stand-up NIU line.
Which currency is the real price?+
Euro on the global page, zloty on the Polish 2026 line, and an older Italian test at €7,999. Nothing here is a US MSRP. Do not invent a dollar conversion and call it NIU’s.
Why mention 23 kg twice?+
Because the global page already says the bricks weigh 23 kg each, even where the amp-hour cell forgets “times two.” Charge copy is 4 hours for one brick and 7 hours for both.
Is 450 Nm a hub-motor number?+
It is the page’s claim beside a 7.5 kW motor. This desk did not measure it. Do not file it next to a 80 Nm cargo-bike torque as if the units meant the same test.
