NOVUS One: 25 kW, €21,300 Before Tax, and Four Torque Numbers

The NOVUS One is an electric motorcycle, not a class bicycle. Electrek, 19 October 2026, prints 25 kW peak, 121 kg, 6.2 kWh, and €21,300 before tax. 21,300 times 1.19 is 25,347, the euro ADAC prints. Torque on the named pages is 150, 300, 400, or 430 Nm. The company homepage did not print the sheet.

The short answer

The NOVUS One is an electric motorcycle, not a Class 1–3 e-bike. Electrek, 19 October 2026, prints 25 kW peak, 121 kg, 6.2 kWh, and €21,300 before tax. Twenty-one thousand three hundred times 1.19 is 25,347, the euro ADAC prints. Torque on the named pages is 150, 300, 400, or 430 newton-meters. Do not average them.

The NOVUS One is an electric motorcycle with a hole through a carbon shell. It is not a Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike, and it is not the Priority E-Sauce that showed up in the same day’s news. NOVUS’s own homepage, opened 20 October 2026, sells a Founders Edition of 100, a God Edition it calls 25 kW, and a note that Spain, France, and Italy can ride that God Edition on a car license. It does not print watt-hours, kilograms, or a euro on a spec block. The numbers below are Electrek, ADAC, Motorrad und Reisen, New Atlas, and a 24 May 2026 delivery note. They do not agree. This desk did not ride it.

A photograph from NOVUS’s site. The hole is the frame. The rear tire reads Pirelli Angel. The homepage did not print 121 kilograms or €21,300 on this picture. No pedals are in the shot.

Twenty-one thousand three hundred times 1.19 is 25,347 exactly. German value-added tax is 19 percent. Electrek calls €21,300 the price before tax. ADAC calls €25,347 the list. Those two sentences can be one euro. New Atlas’s €31,951.50 is not that product. Twenty-five thousand three hundred forty-seven times 1.26 is 31,937, which is not 31,951.50. Do not tax the Founders price into the top spec. A 24 May 2026 delivery note also prints the Founders Edition from €21,300, limited to 100, and says a 2020 announcement had been €46,284. That older figure is not this cart.

Twenty-five kilowatts is not a bicycle

Twenty-five kilowatts is about 33.5 horsepower and about 34 PS. Electrek’s 33 hp and ADAC’s 34 PS are those conversions, not a second motor. The continuous figure on ADAC’s God column is 11 kW, which is the 15 PS. Pure is 4 kW. New Atlas’s base peak is 7 kW. Three peaks, if you count 4, 7, and 25, and they are not one switch. L1e at 45 km/h is a European moped category. L3e at 130 km/h is a motorcycle category. Neither is a United States bicycle class. The class chart still wants pedals and a motor under 750 watts. This desk did not find pedals on the cards, and the photograph does not show them. A Ninja e-1 is the other small electric motorcycle on this desk. A LiveWire is the expensive one. The NOVUS is the one with the hole.

One hundred thirty kilometers an hour divided by 1.609 is 80.8 mph. Electrek rounds that to 81. New Atlas rounds it to 80. The kilometers are the same. Forty-five kilometers an hour is 28.0 mph. Fifty kilometers an hour is 31.1. New Atlas’s sprint ends at 30 mph, which is 48 km/h. Under two seconds to a nearer line is not 1.9 seconds to 50. Do not average the sprints.

One hundred fifty, three hundred, four hundred, and four hundred thirty newton-meters are four claims. A sport mode on one page is not a license to delete the others.

The pack is 6.2 kWh. The miles are not

Six point two kilowatt-hours is 6,200 watt-hours. Electrek’s 150 km is 93.2 miles, and Electrek prints 93. Six thousand two hundred divided by 93 is 67 watt-hours a mile. ADAC’s 110 km for the God version is 68.4 miles. Six thousand two hundred divided by 68.4 is 90.6. The 135 km line, Pure on ADAC and the city line in Motorrad und Reisen, is 83.9 miles. Six thousand two hundred divided by 83.9 is 73.9. Three rates, three sentences, no rider weight on Electrek’s 150. The range page is why city speed is doing the work. New Atlas’s 311 km sits on the base trim, the 7 kW one. Do not hang it on the 25 kW bike.

Eighty percent of 6.2 is 4.96 kilowatt-hours. At ADAC’s 2 kW standard charger, 4.96 divided by 2 is 2.48 hours, if the brick held 2 kW the whole way. ADAC prints about 3.5 hours for that brick, and the table says max 3.5. At the optional 3 kW charger, 4.96 divided by 3 is 1.65 hours. ADAC prints about 1.5 hours. Electrek’s 90 minutes is 1.5 hours, which would take 3.3 kW if 4.96 kilowatt-hours moved in that time. Motorrad und Reisen calls 90 minutes a household socket. A 2 kW brick’s own arithmetic is not 90 minutes. The 90-minute line and the 3.5-hour line can both be on a desk. They are not the same charger.

One hundred twenty-one kilograms, and a cell that says 103

Electrek’s 121 kg is 267 pounds, which is what that story prints. One hundred twenty-one times 2.205 is 266.8, and New Atlas prints 266. The rounding is not the fight. Motorrad und Reisen says 121 kg in the prose and 103 kg in a ready-to-ride cell on the same article. One hundred three kilograms is 227 pounds. That is 18 kilograms, not a translation. Buck City, 9 May 2026, said just over 100 kg, which it converted as 220 pounds, and around 400 Nm, and around 150 km. “Around” is not 430, and just over 100 is not 121. Use the page you mean. A payload cell of 130 kg on the Motorrad table is the load, not the bike. One hundred thirty kilograms of rider and luggage on a 121 kg machine is a different sentence from a 103 kg machine. The homepage does not settle it.

The same Motorrad table prints 100 mm of travel in front and 110 mm at the rear, a 90/90-17 front tire, and a 120/70-17 rear. The photograph’s rear tire reads Pirelli Angel. The table does not say Pirelli. ADAC’s dimensions, labeled manufacturer data, are a 1.32 m wheelbase, 1.08 m tall, and 0.79 m wide. This desk will not move those onto Electrek, which did not print them. The company site says more than 120,000 configurations, and that the first 100 buyers split 1 percent of the founder’s shares. That is a cap table, not a watt.

The public film is from before the deliveries

Edition One Off, 2 November 2025, 6 minutes 25 seconds. René Renger, next to a Mercedes-AMG One in Dettelbach, says 400 newton-meters, 1.9 seconds to 50 km/h, and 115 kilograms. ADAC’s ride report is 13 May 2026. A delivery note is 24 May 2026. This film is earlier than both. It is not a range loop, and the 115 is said, not weighed on camera.

Who it is for

It is for a rider who wants a German carbon motorcycle, a license that matches the software, and a Founders price they have read as either €21,300 before tax or €25,347 on the list. It is not for a bike path. Electrek says United States sales are a 2027 plan, and that a second model, the NOVUS Two, is aimed at late 2027 at a lower price. Those two dates are that story. They are not on the homepage this desk opened. Skip it if you needed one torque, one weight, or a charger time that survives the 2 kW arithmetic. Skip it if you thought the hole made it an e-bike. The hole is a frame. The motor is still 25 kW on the page that says 25 kW.

Questions people ask

Is the NOVUS One an e-bike?+

No. The peak on Electrek and on ADAC’s God column is 25 kW. L1e at 45 km/h and L3e at 130 km/h are European vehicle categories. A bicycle class still wants pedals and a motor under 750 watts.

How much does the NOVUS One cost?+

Electrek prints €21,300 before tax. ADAC prints €25,347. Twenty-one thousand three hundred times 1.19 is 25,347. New Atlas also prints a top spec at €31,951.50, which is not that tax.

How much torque does it make?+

ADAC prints 150 Nm on Pure and 300 Nm on God. New Atlas prints 400 Nm. Electrek and Motorrad und Reisen print 430 Nm. Those are four claims. Do not average them into one.

How much does it weigh?+

Electrek and ADAC print 121 kg. Motorrad und Reisen prints 121 kg in the prose and 103 kg in a ready-to-ride cell. One hundred three is not a translation of 121.
