Stark Future Varg EX: Everything You Need to Know

The Stark Varg EX is an electric enduro motorcycle, not a Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike, and not the Sköll supermoto. Stark’s EX page prints 60 or 80 horsepower, 764 foot-pounds at the rear wheel, a 7.2 kilowatt-hour pack, and 264 pounds. The same page also prints 1,036 newton-meters at the rear wheel. That is the same torque in two units: 764 foot-pounds is about 1,036 newton-meters. It is not two dyno numbers. RevZilla’s first ride, published in September 2026, lists a standard at $12,900 and 60 horsepower, an Alpha at $13,900 and 80 horsepower, a claimed weight of 265 pounds, and availability in the first quarter of 2027. What Stark prints, and what the first ride added

Three hundred sixty volts nominal and 420 volts on a Factory table are not the same printed number. A pack’s nominal voltage and its full-charge voltage are often different, and these pages do not say that is what they mean. Leave both. The ride-time table is not one range. Stark’s own enduro column runs from 1 hour 56 minutes for a pro to 4 hours 6 minutes for a beginner baseline, and the hard-enduro amateur cell is 6 hours 1 minute. A motocross hard-pack pro cell on that same page is 37 minutes. Quote the cell that matches the riding. Do not quote six hours as the moto pace.

Eighty horsepower and a 7.2 kilowatt-hour pack are a motorcycle. Homologation, where Stark claims it, is a license and a plate. It is not Class 1.

Street claim, and the other Varg

Stark’s page says the EX is homologated for road use in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada, and that the US version is a Class M motorcycle from age 16. That is the manufacturer’s sentence. It is not a substitute for your state DMV. RevZilla rode it as a dual-sport and printed a 24-month warranty and a seat height of 39 inches. Stark’s geometry on the same family of numbers is a 26.1-degree rake, a wheelbase of about 58.6 inches, and a seat that changes with sag: about 39 inches extended, a little under that with sag. The motor housing is described as carbon fiber. The frame is chromoly. The chain is a 520.

The Sköll is the supermoto on this site: 17-inch wheels, a different brake story, and a street setup. The EX is the enduro, with the 21-inch front. The plain Varg on the list is the motocross bike. Do not buy an EX because a photo says Varg. Eighty horsepower is about 60 kilowatts. Sixty horsepower is about 45 kilowatts. Either one is far past the class chart. A bike path is the wrong surface even if the plate is real.

Who it is for

Buy it if you want a full-size electric enduro, you can insure and plate a motorcycle where you live, and you will wait on the date the seller actually prints. RevZilla’s September 2026 box says the first quarter of 2027. Stark’s page is already up. Those two facts can both be true: a product page is not a delivery. The Factory Edition is a cosmetics-and-suspension run, 300 EX bikes in Cycle News’ count, at $16,990, not the $12,900 standard. The charger Stark describes is a small portable unit. RevZilla put it at 4.8 pounds. Charge time still depends on 120 volts versus 240.

Skip it if the budget is a $4,000 dirt bike. The Ultra Bee is the 24.5-kilowatt, 195-pound machine. This one is roughly 70 pounds heavier and, on the 80-horsepower setting, in a different power class. Skip it if you wanted the Sköll’s 17-inch wheels. The torque figure is large because it is at the wheel. Do not put 1,036 newton-meters next to a motor-shaft number from a Talaria and call it a comparison.
