The short answer

The Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 is a 2026 electric dirt bike, not a Class 1–3 e-bike and not the X. Canada prints 24 kW in Turbo, 21 kW in M, a 78.54V 45Ah pack labeled 3.53 kWh, 143.30 lb, and 320.4 ft-lb, with a carbon-belt primary. NZ prints 434 Nm and, lower on the page, 410 Nm, and a gear primary. Creature’s cart is $5,999.

The Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 is a 2026 electric dirt bike, not a Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike, and not the Light Bee X. Surron Canada’s card prints 24 kilowatts in Turbo and 21 kilowatts in M, a 78.54-volt 45-amp-hour pack it labels 3.53 kWh, 143.30 pounds, 55.92 mph, and 320.4 ft-lb at the wheel, with a carbon-belt primary and a chain. Sur-Ron New Zealand’s page prints 434 Nm in the hero and, in a comparison with the 2025 model, 410 Nm, and it says the primary is a gear. Creature Racing’s US cart shows $5,999, down from $6,399. 24 kW, two torques, two primaries

Surron Canada’s 2026 card, the New Zealand page, Creature Racing’s US cart, and Ronhack’s US listing. 320.4 ft-lb converts to about 434 Nm. 410 Nm is 302.4 ft-lb. Those are not the same number.

What is printed
Peak powerCanada: 24 kW in Turbo, 21 kW in M. NZ’s hero prints 24 kW and does not print the 21.
Wheel torqueCanada: 320.4 ft-lb. NZ hero: 434 Nm. NZ comparison graphic, same page: 266 Nm to 410 Nm. Ronhack: 302 ft-lb, which is 410 Nm.
BatteryCanada and NZ: 78.54V / 45Ah, printed as 3.53 kWh. 78.54 times 45 is 3,534 watt-hours. The card rounds that to 3.53 kWh. Creature writes 78V 45Ah.
ChemistryThe Canada card says high-density and does not say semi-solid. NZ says a semisolid-state pack with QingTao. Creature and Ronhack also say semi-solid, and they print a 14.9 kg pack. The Canada card does not print that weight.
Weight and speedCanada: 143.30 lb. NZ: 65 kg. That is the same weight. Canada: 55.92 mph. NZ: 90 km/h. That is the same speed.
RangeCanada: 67.11 miles at 24.85 mph, and 99.42 miles at 15.53 mph. NZ: 108 km at 40 km/h, and 160 km at 25 km/h. Same two cruise claims, two units. Creature’s “100 mi” and “56 mph” are rounded.
Primary driveCanada: carbon belt, then a 520 O-ring chain. NZ: primary gear, then a chain. Ronhack’s listing says there is no belt to maintain. Ask which sentence is in the crate.
ChassisCanada: seat 32.68 in, wheelbase 50.39 in, payload 220.46 lb, forks 8.46 in, rear shock 3.35 in with 8.66 in of wheel travel, brakes 220/203 mm, tires 70/100-19 and 3.00-18. Charge 20% to 80% in 2.0 hours.
PriceCanada MSRP: $7,499 CAD, shipping fees apply. Creature: $5,999 from $6,399, backorder, ETA October 2026 on that page. Ronhack: $5,199. MotoEbikes, August 19, 2026: £4,699 off-road and £4,999 for an L3e.

The torque fight is not a unit conversion. 320.4 ft-lb is about 434 Nm, which is the New Zealand hero. 410 Nm is 302.4 ft-lb, which is the comparison graphic on that same NZ page and the number Ronhack prints. The factory put both on one regional page. Do not average them to 422. The primary drive is the same kind of fight. A carbon belt and a gear primary are different parts. The Canada card prints the belt. NZ prints the gear. A US shop that says there is no belt is siding with NZ, not with Canada. The battery words split too. “High-density” is the Canada phrase. “Semisolid-state” and QingTao are NZ’s, and the US shops repeat them with a 14.9 kg pack weight the Canada card does not print.

434 Nm and 410 Nm are both on the New Zealand page. A belt and a gear primary cannot both be the crate.

What it is not

It is not the X. That bike, on the 2026 cards this desk has used, is about 10 kilowatts, a 72-volt 35-amp-hour pack, and about 130 pounds. This card is 24 kilowatts in Turbo, 3.53 kWh, and 143 pounds. NZ’s comparison is against a 2025 model at 8 kilowatts and 266 Nm at the wheel, with motor torque going from 34 to 39 Nm and motor speed from 5,200 to 8,700 rpm. That comparison is not a description of the 10-kilowatt X. Do not buy an X because the ad uses the old name, and do not buy this because a used listing says the old platform “to rebuild.”

It fails the federal bicycle tests. No pedals that make it a bicycle, and 24 kilowatts is not less than 750 watts. The class chart does not apply. MotoEbikes’ August 19, 2026 page splits an off-road version at £4,699 from a road-homologated L3e at £4,999, both with 24 kilowatts and 3.53 kWh on that page. An L3e sentence is a European type-approval claim on a shop page. It is not a US title, and it is not Class 3. The Ultra Bee is the 195-pound, 74-volt bike at 24.5 kilowatts. Peak kilowatts are close. The motorcycle is not. Creature’s page says the US bike comes with an MCO. An MCO is a dealer document. It is not a bicycle class.

Who it is for

Buy it if you want the new lightweight chassis, you have a place to ride a dirt bike, and you will read belt-versus-gear and 434-versus-410 before you pay. Modes on the Canada card are the letters E, D, S, M, T, R, and L. Creature writes those out as Eco, Daily, Sport, a custom M, Turbo, Crawl, and Reverse. Turbo is the 24-kilowatt line. M, on that card, is 21. Acceleration on that card is 1.8 seconds to 31 mph and 3.43 seconds to 50 mph. Those are claims. The 8.46 inches of fork travel is 215 millimeters if you convert, and Creature prints 215 mm plus a Kashima coating the Canada card does not mention. Rotors on the Canada card are 220 mm and 203 mm. Creature’s brake line says 220 mm.

The price to compare is the cart. $5,999 is Creature’s tagged price, from $6,399, with an October 2026 arrival note on that page. $5,199 is Ronhack’s. $7,499 CAD is the Canada MSRP before shipping. £4,699 and £4,999 are one UK shop’s August print for two legal versions. Ride Panther’s August 26, 2026 Australian note printed A$8,990, 410 Nm, and a 14.9 kg pack. None of those invoices is a 10-kilowatt X, and none of them is a Class 2 unlock. The cruise range is a steady 15.5 mph or a steady 25 mph. It is not a trail loop. Watt-hours are 3,534 by multiplication, 3.53 kWh on the card.

Questions people ask

Is a Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 an e-bike?+

No. Turbo on the Canada card is 24 kW, and there are no bicycle pedals. An L3e line on a UK shop page is not a US title and not Class 3.

How much torque does a Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 make?+

Canada prints 320.4 ft-lb, about 434 Nm. NZ’s hero prints 434 Nm. The comparison graphic on that page prints 410 Nm. A US listing prints 302 ft-lb. Do not average 434 and 410.

Does a Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 use a belt?+

Canada prints a carbon belt, then a chain. NZ prints a gear primary, then a chain. Another US listing says there is no belt. Those are different parts.

How much does a Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 cost?+

Creature shows $5,999 from $6,399. Ronhack shows $5,199. The Canada MSRP is $7,499 CAD before shipping. A UK shop’s August 2026 page printed £4,699 and £4,999. The cart is the price.
