KTM Freeride E-XC: Everything You Need to Know
The list name is the older bike. The 2025 card drops the XC letters: it peaks at 19.2 kW, labels 5.5 kWh, and weighs 112 kg. Rated power prints as 11 kW and as 8.3 kW. The earlier pack was 3.9 kWh.

The short answer
The list uses the older name. KTM’s current card says Freeride E. The 2025 specifications page peaks at 19.2 kW, rates 11 kW, prints 37.6 Nm, 110 amp-hours, and a 910 mm seat. A 2027 model page rates 8.3 kW on that peak, and ground clearance of 360 mm against 345. Press copy labels 5.5 kWh, 112 kg, and 95 km/h. The older line is a 3.9 kWh pack.
The list uses the older letters. The current card drops them, and it is not a Class 1, 2, or 3 e-bike. The 2025 specifications block prints a 50.4-volt permanent-magnet motor, a peak of 19.2 kW, a rated output of 11 kW, 37.6 Nm, a battery capacity of 110 amp-hours, and a seat of 910 mm. It does not print kilowatt-hours, a weight, or a top speed. A press note from that year prints 5.5 kWh, 112 kg, 95 km/h, a 29 kg pack, and the same 11 kW nominal. A model page after that prints 8.3 kW nominal on that peak, and ground clearance of 360 mm. The 2025 block’s ground clearance is 345 mm. The older line, on a German spec index, is about 18 kW at the top, 9 kW nominal, 42 Nm, and a 3.9 kWh pack, near 110 kg. The row links here.

Two names, and two rated-power lines
KTM’s 2025 specifications block, that year’s UK press note, the later model page and its April 3, 2026 press note, and a German index that still lists the older letters. Do not average 11 and 8.3.
| What is printed | |
|---|---|
| Name | List and the older index keep the XC letters. The 2025 card does not. Neither does the later page. |
| Peak and rated | 2025 block: peaks at 19.2 kW, 11 kW rated, 37.6 Nm. That year’s press: 11 kW nominal, the same peak, more than 37 Nm, 95 km/h. Later model page: 8.3 kW nominal, the same peak, more than 37 Nm, 95 km/h. The later press note says 37 Nm, not 37.6, and 59 mph, which is 95 km/h. |
| Older line | German index, the XC letters still carried through 2026: 9 kW at 4,500 rpm, 42 Nm, 110 kg, seat 910 mm, €13,025. Another German line for that name: 18 kW at the top, 9 kW continuous, 3.9 kWh. The 2025 press calls the new pack 1.5 kWh larger than the previous model. 5.5 minus 3.9 is 1.6, not 1.5. |
| Battery | The block: 110 Ah, and it does not print kilowatt-hours. Fifty times 110 is 5,500. Fifty point four times 110 is 5,544. The press label is 5.5 kWh, which matches 50 volts, not the 50.4-volt motor line. Pack mass in that press: 29 kg. Removal in under ten minutes. The later page says nominal voltage around 50 V, and more than 1,000 cycles before 80 percent state of health. |
| Charge | Spec page: 540 minutes to 100 percent, 420 minutes to 80 percent, at 660 W, from 90–265 V. 540 minutes is 9 hours. The press says 8 hours on the 660 W unit and 1.5 hours on a 3.3 kW charger. Do not average 8 and 9. |
| Chassis | Chrome-moly frame. Seat 910 mm, which the later press also writes as 35.8 in. Fork travel 250 mm. Shock travel 240 mm on the block. Wheels 1.60-by-21 and 2.15-by-18. Tires 90/90 and 120/90. Ground clearance 345 mm on the block and 360 mm on that model page. Press weight: 112 kg, written 246.9 lb. The block does not print a weight. |
| Price | No US sticker on the 2025 block or the later press note this desk read. The German index prints €13,274 for a 2026 model without the XC letters. The list’s “premium” was not a number. Dealers were told early summer for that note, dated April 3, 2026. |
There are no pedals. Nineteen kilowatts is not a bicycle motor. A 95 km/h line is not Class 3. The rated-power fight is inside KTM: 11 kW on the 2025 block and that year’s press, 8.3 kW on the later model page, same peak. Publish the page you are ordering from. Do not publish 9.65.
Five point five kilowatt-hours is the press label. One hundred ten amp-hours times 50.4 volts is 5,544 watt-hours. The block printed the amp-hours and skipped the energy.
Not the mini, and not the old pack
A Light Bee is a different weight. A Kalk OR is the other premium trail bike on this list, and that company filed for bankruptcy. This one is the factory enduro with a 21-inch front. It fails the class chart. The watt-hour page is the unit. Two to three hours of enduro time, which the press claims, is not a mileage. On 5,500 watt-hours that claim has no mile figure to divide.
Who it is for
Buy the new card if you wanted the 5.5 kWh pack, a peak of 19.2 kW, and a dealer who will say whether the rated line on your paperwork is 11 kW or 8.3. The seat at 910 mm and the 21/18 wheels agree across the pages this desk read. The rated power, the ground clearance, and the full-charge time do not.
Skip it if you needed the old 3.9 kWh E-XC and a US price. This desk did not find the US sticker. Do not subtract 3.9 from 5.5 and call the difference 1.5, and do not put pedals on a bike that does not have them.
Questions people ask
Did the new card keep the XC letters?+
No. The encyclopedia line for the earlier bike is a 3.9-kilowatt-hour pack, a peak near 18 kilowatts, 9 kilowatts nominal, and 42 Nm, near 110 kg. The 2025 press calls the new pack 1.5 kilowatt-hours larger. Subtracting 3.9 from 5.5 leaves 1.6, not 1.5.
Why are there two nominal figures?+
That specifications page prints a rated output of 11 kilowatts. The later model page prints 8.3 kilowatts nominal. Both keep the same peak. A 2025 press note agrees with 11. Do not average the two rated lines.
What is 110 amp-hours in watt-hours?+
The specifications page prints 110 Ah and a 50.4-volt motor, and it does not print kilowatt-hours. Fifty times 110 is 5,500. Fifty point four times 110 is 5,544. The press label matches 50 volts, not 50.4. Full charge on that page is 540 minutes. The press says 8 hours.
Is there a US sticker price?+
Not on the specifications page or the 2027 press note this desk read. A German index prints €13,274 for a 2026 Freeride E and still lists the earlier name through 2026 at 9 kilowatts for €13,025. There are no pedals. It is not a bicycle class.

Sur-Ron Ultra Bee: Everything You Need to Know
The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee is a 24.5 kW, 74V 60Ah dirt bike, about 195 lb. It is not a Class 1–3 e-bike. Voro’s cart showed $5,995.95 and a 20 mph governor. Canada’s card says 59 mph.

What Is a Class 1, 2, and 3 E-Bike?
Class 1 is pedal-assist to 20. Class 2 adds a throttle to 20. Class 3 is pedal-assist to 28. A Tuttio is none of these. The sticker is not the trail.
